Resetting Passwords

If you have already set up your NetID and password, and have received a notice that your password is about to expire, choose the option below for instructions for resetting your NetID password.

If you cannot access your online sessions at the EO Portal because you can’t recall your NetID password or your password has already expired, you can reset your password if you set up security questions when you initially activated your NetID account. If so, choose the option below for instructions for re-establishing your NetID password.

If you did not set up security questions when you activated your NetID, you will need to contact the ITS help desk at 208-885-HELP (4357) or helpdesk@uidaho.edu for assistance.

▼ Reset Your Current NetID Password
  1. Log in to the ITS Account Management website with your NetID and password.
  2. On the left side, under Account Utilities, select Change Password.
  3. Create a new password by typing in your own or by allowing the site to generate a new password for you. Passwords with eight characters will expire in 90 days. Passwords with 15+ characters will expire in 400 days.
