Engineering Management

The Department of Civil Engineering offers a Master of Engineering (M.Engr.) Engineering Management degree through Engineering Outreach. This is a non-thesis degree. You will have to pass a comprehensive exam and complete a minimum of 30 credits to graduate.

This degree is for people who are planning to move from technical engineering specialties to technical management responsibilities. After graduation, you will be prepared for the management of technical activities in business, industry or government.

Applications received after the deadline but before the official start of the semester for which you are seeking entry will be accepted only if additional students can be accommodated.

If the deadline has already passed, you can apply as a nondegree student and take courses until your graduate application is accepted. Work with your adviser to ensure the course(s) can be applied to toward your degree.
